esitron-electronic GmbH has been a successful manufacturer of control systems for the automation of production and special machines since 1989.
The main focus is on control systems for positioning with electric or hydraulic drive technology as well as a range of different devices in the field of automation technology.
We mainly support companies from different areas of mechanical and plant engineering. With most of them we have a long-standing and successful cooperation. In doing so, qualified consulting is in the foreground for us.
In addition to our standard products, we also offer individual and optimal adaptation of our devices to customer-specific requirements.
In doing so, we rely on innovation and the highest quality in our products, as well as on our creative and qualified employees, who design, develop and implement the optimal solutions for our customers.
Since November 1, 2025, Mr. Andreas Vonderschmidt and Dr. Stefan Vonderschmidt, managing partners of GEORGII KOBOLD GmbH & Co. KG, have been co-partners of esitron-electronic GmbH. Mr. Andreas Vonderschmidt will take over the management of our company together with Mr. Dennis Raiser. Both will manage the company on an equal footing in the future.
The arrival of Messrs. Vonderschmidt and the 50% partnership will create an even closer partnership between two experienced specialists in drive and automation technology based in Baden-Württemberg. This connection will open up valuable synergies in development, production, and service—and strengthen the innovative power, delivery capability, and technological expertise of both manufacturers of motors and power electronics in the long term.
What does this mean for the future? Above all, it means continuity and new opportunities:
esitron remains your reliable partner for high-quality solutions in the field of servo motion technology—with expanded expertise, an even wider range of products, and an increased focus on your individual requirements. With esitron, you will continue to have a strong, reliable manufacturer and supplier of servo motors, servo controllers, decentralized drive systems, controls, and displays for special-purpose machines and production lines.
“We are building on a healthy foundation with a wealth of expertise in a great team and successful products that are very well established on the market, such as our esiMot series in the field of decentralized servo motors,” says Dennis Raiser.
“All-in-one solutions, powerful, highly precise, and extremely customizable configurations enable us to respond to customer requirements on an individual basis,” explains Andreas Vonderschmidt. Esitron products are used in a wide variety of areas of mechanical and plant engineering: from the food industry to wood processing or drilling and spraying technology.
The esitron management team is committed to innovation and the highest quality in its products, as well as to creative and qualified employees who design, develop, and implement the optimal solutions for their customers.
Founded in 1989 and headquartered in the Lake Constance district of Baden-Württemberg, the automation and drive technology specialist’s company details remain unchanged. All familiar contacts in purchasing, sales, service, and support are available to customers as usual.
Dennis Raiser has been Managing Director of esitron-electronic GmbH since May 2022. The graduate mechanical engineer has extensive practical experience and combines technical expertise with entrepreneurial vision. After training as a motor vehicle mechanic, he studied mechanical engineering at Mannheim University of Applied Sciences.
During his career at BorgWarner Inc., he developed, among other things, an electrically and hydraulically controlled coolant pump for commercial vehicles – his invention is patented. As a project manager at BorgWarner and later at the Handtmann Group, he was successfully responsible for numerous development and mechanical engineering projects.
At esitron, Dennis Raiser heads up the sales and development departments. He stands for innovation, technical excellence, and sustainable solutions.
“The esitron brand stands for long-term perspective, innovative strength, and the implementation of tailor-made ideas,” says Raiser.
In his private life, he loves to be out in nature – on his mountain bike. Ride on!
As an engineer and psychologist, Andreas Vonderschmidt combines in-depth technical knowledge with decades of experience in drive technology and corporate management. Mr. Vonderschmidt is the managing partner of five medium-sized companies: in addition to esitron, these include Georgii Kobold (focus: engine technology), Rotax (focus: transmission technology), Mattke (focus: system automation), and magnetica (focus: magnetic gearboxes).
His focus is on strategic development, technological innovation, and sustainable cooperation. The goal of the new business relationship is to leverage synergies and exploit the potential arising from the connection between the motor manufacturer Kobold and the power electronics specialist esitron.
“esitron and Georgii Kobold share a passion for intelligent drive technology – together we want to shape the future of decentralized drives and servo controllers for control cabinets,” says Vonderschmidt.
After successfully completing his studies in psychology at the University of Mannheim and electrical engineering at the University of Stuttgart, he joined GEORGII KOBOLD in Horb in 2010. Andreas Vonderschmidt’s career includes the positions of technical manager, authorized signatory, managing director, and, since 2018, managing partner.
In his free time, he enjoys exercise and technology in equal measure – whether playing sports (he is an active tennis player) or tinkering with new ideas.
