Absolute position detection in the decentralized servo drive esiMot XL!
The brushless drive offers a high degree of variability thanks to the available inputs and outputs as well as its versatile functionality. The galvanic isolation of the fieldbus interface enables easy connection to common bus systems, such as PROFIBUS-DP, PROFINET, EtherCAT or CANopen, in accordance with DSP402 or RS 485. Position detection takes place either via resolver or absolute encoder. The built-in ballast circuit with integrated resistor and the status display via LEDs make the esiMot XL a user-friendly complete system. Alternatively, the esiMot XL can also be controlled in analog form and supplies incremental signals for external positioning control. The drive offers the option of retrieving stored positions via inputs and even changing them using the teach-in procedure, even without a bus system. The esiMot XL is operated directly from the 230 or 400 V AC mains and is available from 0,78 kW to 1,21 kW rated power and optionally with explosion protection for zones 2 + 22.
