Over 30 years of experience in automation!
Effective May 01, 2022, Mr. Saurabh Basu and Mr. Dennis Raiser have taken over all shares in esitron-electronic GmbH. The specialist for automation and drive technology, founded in 1989, has thus completed a generational change and will be continued on its successful path by the new dual leadership.
The company headquarters in the Lake Constance district, Baden-Württemberg, and the company data remain unchanged. All known contact persons in purchasing, sales as well as service and support will be available to customers as usual.
Saurabh Basu: “We are building on a healthy foundation with a lot of know-how in a great team, successful products that are very well established in the market, such as our esiMot range in the field of distributed servo motors.”
Dennis Raiser: “All-in-one solutions, high-performance, high-precision and enormously adaptable configurations enable us to respond to customers’ ideas completely individually. Our products are used in the most diverse areas of mechanical and plant engineering: from the food industry to wood processing or drilling and spraying technology.”
For the future, the new management team relies on innovation and the highest quality in their products, as well as on the creative and qualified employees who design, develop and implement the optimal solutions for their customers.
“We want to implement automation tasks consistently, efficiently and also sustainably!”, both agree and aim to expand capacities.
Other focus areas for the new management are investments in EDP and ERP systems to map digitally networked business processes. “The expansion of product development software is the basis for achieving shorter go-to-market times,” says Basu. The management duo is also concerned about promoting young talent. They want to expand the apprenticeships as well as study positions with a focus on electrical engineering in their company and have already hired the first working student.

As a cosmopolitan with study and work experience on different continents, Saurabh Basu combines international and technical competence. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pune, India, and a Master’s degree (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, USA. At BorgWarner Cooling Systems GmbH, Markdorf and Allweiler, Radolfzell am Bodensee (CIRCOR International Inc.) he was Supply Chain Director as well as Plant Manager.
Saurabh Basu: “I am a technically as well as commercially oriented engineer with a lot of practical experience in the automotive industry and in the field of mechanical engineering.” Employee management of up to 500 employees, improvement of process flows especially in production as well as materials management and also Kaizen are his hobbyhorses.
Now, since May 2022, he has been managing director of esitron-electronic GmbH, a specialist in automation and drive technology, together with Dennis Raiser. Here, too, he wants to apply the concept of Kaizen: Kaizen is a Japanese philosophy of life and work as well as a methodical approach to business management. It consists of keeping a continuous improvement process going.
At esitron, Basu is responsible for production, purchasing and finance. “In my private life, my two children keep me busy and at home, my wife is the boss,” says Basu.

As a technically gifted and structured engineer, Mr. Raiser developed, among other things, an electrically-hydraulically controlled coolant pump for the commercial vehicle sector (with his own patent) at BorgWarner Inc. As a project manager first at BorgWarner Inc. and then at Handtmann Group, Mr. Raiser has successfully implemented numerous projects in mechanical engineering.
Mr. Raiser is responsible for sales and development at esitron.
“The esitron brand stands for long-term perspective, innovative strength, sustainability and wants to turn its ideas into solutions,” says Raiser.
